Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of El Cajon!
Diggin’ Our Roots with FPCEC
We are excited to introduce a new group to our congregation. It’s called “Diggin’ Our Roots" a genealogy workshop for anyone who wants to connect or maybe re-connect with their ancestry.
Genealogy is not just about finding your ancestors - it’s also about self discovery. Maybe you’ve always wanted to know where you got your eyes, your sense of adventure or maybe even your strong belief and faith. Learning about your own ancestry is also a wonderful gift to the young people in your life – even if they don’t know it yet!
We will be meeting one Saturday per month to teach and learn together about researching our roots. If you have genealogy research experience and would like to be involved, please contact Rachelle Sparks orSandy Hood for more info.
