Welcome to First Presbyterian Church El Cajon!
In 2008, we celebrate a presence of 125 years in El Cajon. We maintain a robust tradition of worship and service in our community while we investigate new ways to apply the Christian message to an increasingly complex social environment.
Come explore, with us, the resilience of Christianity in rapidly changing times!
If you come and join us for worship you will find us warm and inviting. This is reflected in our worship of God and our love for God’s church. We believe that God invites all to come to worship. God is the God of all creation. God is no respecter of persons, whether by race, creed or sex. We embrace God’s desire that “every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.”
We have an active congregation developing their spiritual life through study and prayer, as well as serving the world through their gifts of compassion and commitment to those God has called us to.
We hope you come and join us. By the gifts, personality and commitments of all those in the church we can make a difference. Come and join us as God makes a difference in each of us, and we make a difference in the world.
