If the Parable of the Sower is a challenge to “do better,” then maybe we should call it the Parable of the Soils. Perhaps, we have something to learn about the Sower. It is difficult to comprehend God’s irrational, indiscriminate love. From ancient times to today, God shows us how to plant with patience.
